Digital Elevation Maps (DEM's)
have only been available for a few
years.
A "DEM" is basically nothing more than a
list of locations with corresponding
elevations. Once arranged and linked
properly, this data forms a grid called a
"Height Map".
Primarily used by Geospatial Engineers
in specific software, their product is
run thru 3D viewers.
This means that Massive Multiple
Online Game
Virtual Interactivity has been only a
